NORTH ALABAMA
Moody Farms (Oneonta)
The family oriented and owned Moody Farms is located in Oneonta and relatively new on the scene. Their first year was 2014 and they grow Virginia Pine, Leyland Cypress, and Carolina Sapphire. I love their adorable photography setups, personalized tree stands, and cute shirts!

Beaver's Christmas Tree Farm (Trafford)
If choosing and cutting down your own tree is perfect for your family then you are perfect for Beaver’s Christmas Tree Farm! This weekend-only farm provides saws for your cutting convenience and typically offers hayrides, food, and a limited amount of snow flocking.

Shell's Christmas Tree Farm (Tuscumbia)
Started in 1983, Shell’s Christmas Tree Farm has the motto “start a family tradition”. The family-owned farm wishes to provide the perfect family experience and has built an impressive loyal clientele.
Come ready to look through their inventory of Virginia Pine, Leyland Cypress, Blue Ice, and Frasier Firs (among others) and start your own family tradition!

Old Dairy Christmas Tree Farm (Gadsden)
Another relative newcomer, Old Dairy Christmas Tree Farm in the Hokes Bluff area opened for the first time in 2017. They offer an array of different tree types and have generous hours of operations. Some years they are even open on Thanksgiving!

Trim-A-Tree Farm (Athens)
Trim-A-Tree Farm in Athens offers cut-your-own Carolina Sapphires and Leyland Cypress along with pre-cut Frasier Firs. They are opening up the day after Thanksgiving and while they don’t allow pre-tagging, they do allow for scheduled photography sessions and smiling faces!

Back To Christmas Tree Farm (Madison)

Clear Creek Christmas Trees (Jasper)
Clear Creek Christmas Trees in Jasper operates a bit differently in that they recently went to a one-weekend-only operation. The weekend after Thanksgiving is the time for the show featuring mostly 6 to 7-foot trees with a few in the 8-foot range. Remember to bring cash or check only!

Frazier Farms (Albertville)
Albertville’s Frazier Farms will be offering Leyland Cypress, White Pine, Arizona and Murray Cypress for your choosing enjoyment! Need a small tree? Want a large one? They’ve got it! Also, a special moment here-don’t miss their light show set to music!

CENTRAL ALABAMA
Wadsworth Christmas Tree Farm (Wetumpka)
Wadsworth Christmas Tree Farm planted its first tree in 1976. Now, 43 years (41 of selling trees) and many awards later, this Wetumpka-based farm is still going strong. They are open daily (except Thanksgiving) and accept cards (Visa/MC), cash, and checks!

Pine Hill Farms (Tarrant)

Opening sooner than most, Pine Hill Farms in Tarrant offers the unique “Blue Ice” tree along with several other types. In addition, they bring in other species not native to Alabama such as Fraser and Douglas Firs.
Cut down your own, have them cut for you or even delivered to you-there are so many options! Flocking? Yep, they do it. They have a few different activities on the farm and there is no admission fee to visit!

Gilbert Christmas Tree Farm (Lanett)
Lanett’s Gilbert Christmas Tree Farm has been in the business of Christmas tree joy since 1987. They grow the Leyland Cypress, Carolina Sapphire, and Virginia Pine. If the Fraser Fir is your type, they will have those pre-cut and brought in from North Carolina. Please note when planning your visit that they operate in the Eastern Time Zone.

Old Baker Farm (Harpersville)
Old Baker Farm is a fan favorite in the Birmingham area. Come get your Virginia Pine, Leyland Cypress, Fraser Fir and more while enjoying complimentary hot apple cider, candy canes and hayrides through the Christmas trees!

Wilderwood Farm (Tuscaloosa)
Located in Ralph just west of Tuscaloosa, Wilderwood Farm is more than just a Christmas tree farm, it’s a family experience! Come choose your choice of Leyland Cypress to cut or the pre-cut Fraser Fir and enjoy with it hot chocolate, farm animals, and Christmas gift shop options!
